In addition to Black Widow, first look at Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle's Rhodey Rhodes and Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer has also arrived.
Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con preview issue apparently did not only tease on how Scarlett Johansson portrays femme fatale Black Widow in "Iron Man 2", but also the look of several other main characters. Slash Film has got its hands on the mag's scanned photos that expose Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as Rhodey Rhodes and Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer.
One of the images captures Paltrow's Potts talking to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark in what appears to be a court room. Another one sees Cheadle, who replaced Terrence Howard as Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes, at some kind of court hearing with Rockwell's fast-talking weapons manufacturer character in the background. The last one exhibits director Jon Favreau and Downey Jr. watching playback from a boxing ring.
A sequel to 2008 blockbuster "Iron Man", "Iron Man 2" will have its script written by "Tropic Thunder" scribe Justin Theroux. It has a star-studded cast ensemble which include Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash. Set to hit in U.S. theaters on May 7, 2010, the superhero film will be presented by Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment at the San Diego Comic Con 2009 on Saturday, July 25, from 04:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. at Hall H.
For the Jerry Bruckheimer's forthcoming epic movie, Entertainment Weekly has published a brand new photo of Jake Gyllenhaal in costume as Prince Dastan.
With Entertainment Weekly (EW)'s Comic-Con preview hitting the newsstands, a brand new photo of "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" has been unraveled by the magazine. It is the first official picture from the upcoming video game adaptation, and it features Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan, a sixth-century Persian prince.
Accompanying the photo, EW included a piece of its interview with the leading actor. "I'm tired of taking myself so seriously," the 28-year-old Academy Awards nominee talked about doing his own stunts, like sword-fighting, climbing walls, and jumping off of buildings. "It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this.' "
Back in 2008, set photos of the actor had surfaced. Taken from the Moroccan set of the movie, the pictures display topless Gyllenhaal dressed in a full Prince of Persia's costume, while holding hands with his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon. There, he is seen sporting a scruffy look with new long hairdo.
Based on Ubisoft Montreal's 2003 video game of the same name, "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" follows Dastan, a street urchin in 6th century Persia who after showing valor in battle, is adopted by the king as his heir. Now as the fate of the world is in jeopardy, he must join forces with Tamina, a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
Directed by "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" helmer Mike Newell, the Walt Disney's feature project is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Joining Jake Gyllenhaal in the cast are Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina. The action adventure movie is set to be released in the U.S. May 28, 2010.
After breaking midnight sales record of U.S. box office, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' continues its record-breaking pace by earning 104 million dollars worldwide in just 24 hours.
Synopsis:
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has made another record. In addition, the big number scored the Daniel Radcliffe-starring movie the fourth largest debut for any release day of the week behind "The Dark Knight", "Transformers" sequel and "Spider-Man 3".

Moreover, in Holland, it scored the biggest opening of all time with $1.3 million.

The film grossed $22.2 million from ticket sales on its midnight screenings, making it to be the best midnight sales opening of all time. With such amount, the flick beat out the previous record holder which was another Warner Bros.' movie "The Dark Knight".

Mariah Carey opened with a choking rendition of 'I'll Be There' and the Jacksons got on stage for the final medley of 'We Are the World' and 'Heal the World'.
Family, close friends and fans gathered at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 7 to celebrate the life and death of Michael Jackson. Apart from speech, accolades and testimony, stars who have shared memories of him took the stage to perform in the late singer's honor.
Mariah Carey was the first to dedicate a song to him, singing her famous cover of Jackson Five's hit "I'll Be There". She was joined in the middle by Trey Lorenz, her long-time collaborator who joined her in the song back in 1992 during MTV Unplugged. Bringing it in gospel tone, Mariah slipped in Michael's name and added "Never can say goodbye".
Stevie Wonder, who was also in Motown during Michael's golden years, sat behind the piano to sing a medley of his '70s songs "Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer" and "They Won't Go When I Go". Before starting his piece, he said "This is a moment that I wished to never see come. But as much as I can say that, and mean it, I do know that God is good, and I don't know that as much as we feel, and we do, that we need Michael here with us, God must have needed him far more. Michael, I love you and I told you that many times, so I'm at peace with that."
Jermaine Jackson made a tribute for his little brother right after Brooke Shields gave a speech about Michael's favorite song, "Smile". Based on the lyrics, Brooke said Michael would want them to smile even though "your heart is aching". Jermaine, choking near to the end of the song, closed his set by throwing a rose on top of Michael's casket.
"Britain's Got Talent" finalist Shaheen Jafargholi whose voice is a resemblance to young Michael, paid a tribute by singing "Who's Loving You". He was personally invited by the Jacksons because they knew he was a fan of Michael. "I just want to thank you so much for blessing me and every single person on this earth with your amazing music," Shaheen said after singing. "Thank you very much, Michael Jackson."
The last 10 minutes of the memorial was dedicated to a medley of "We Are the World" and "Heal the World" by various artists. Some of these people are the backing singers who were supposed to support Michael during his "This Is It" concert. The family members, including Michael's three children, were also on stage along with the singers who had performed before.
The memorial service included also performances by Usher, Andrae Crouch Choir, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Hudson and John Mayer.
Unable to avoid crying on stage, 11-year-old Paris turned to Janet Jackson, who was quick to embrace her. A moment later, Janet and some other family members led Paris off the stage. Paris' touching tribute was the first public statement made by any of Michael's children since the King of Pop passed away on June 25.
Michael's sons, Prince Michael Jackson Jr. and Prince Michael Jackson II, were also seen attending the star-studded memorial service for their late famous father. The boys took the stage, joining family members, numerous celebs, and a group of other people to sing "We Are the World/Heal the World."
In addition to relatives and fans, Michael's memorial service was also attended by his celebrity friends. Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Queen Latifah, Mike Tyson, Larry King, and P. Diddy were among the attendees. Music stars like Usher, Mariah Carey, and Jennifer Hudson were some of the tapped performers during the memorial.

Details of the ring that Kevin Jonas presented to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa when he proposed to her recently have been obtained by People, according to which the band consists of 210 round pave diamonds. Angela Arabo, Jacob & Co vice president, who worked with Kevin to design the ring, is quoted as confirming the gem is "a three-carat cushion-cut diamond set in platinum above double shank band with 210 round pave diamonds."
Kevin and Angela worked on the idea for the ring over the phone and through e-mail. "When he got the ring, he called me and said it was the most beautiful ring and it was exactly how he imagined. He was really excited. He couldn't wait to propose to her," says Angela, adding "He was very happy and thrilled. Danielle is very happy and she has the ring on right now". Angela then concludes, Kevin "had done his homework ..... He knew exactly what he wanted."
